In a series of London's healthiest spots, today I will be sharing with you some of the best ways to stay healthy and active while out and about in Hampstead.
Where to eat in Hampstead?
There are plenty of healthy meal options to enjoy in this particular area of London. One that is consistently pencilled into my calendar is a small friendly cafe called Silveryberry. If you're looking to pick your own breakfast, whether it's eggs and salmon with sourdough bread, or homemade baked beans with avocado and Shakshuka, or, even just a simple nourishing yoghurt with berries, then look no further than Hampstead's very own Silverberry. Healthy food, pick your own breakfast, outdoor heating... what more do you want?

A very cosy and warm cafe with a variety of options suitable for vegetarians, vegans and those with special dietary requirements. Here you can enjoy nourishing Greek yoghurt bowls topped with fruit and nuts, or fruit and berry packed desserts. My personal favourite is the sourdough toast with avocado, enjoy!
Walking & Running Routes
There are plenty of beautiful walking spots scattered around London, and few better than Hampstead Heath. A hotspot for locals and tourists, it's packed full of woodlands, lakes and rugged hills offering some of London's best scenery.

The Inner London Ramblers have outlined one of many walking routes to try out when visiting Hampstead Heath. Although, if you are looking for a longer and more challenging route then the Serpentine Running Club have a popular running map circulating the whole of the Heath. If you are into your athletics sports, then it's also worth mentioning the all-weather Hampstead Athletics Track located just next to the playing fields.
Hampstead Heath is arguably most famous for its wild swimming ponds open to the public. Hampstead Heath Swimming Ponds offers both mixed and gender separated ponds where you can swim all day in the cool muddy waters!

Not a fan of swimming with nature and getting yourself muddy? Check out the Parliament Hill Lido where you can enjoy clean(er) water while powering through your 200ft pool lengths!
Just next to the running track is a small outdoor gym offering some basic body weight exercises such as dip, pull-up and chin-up bars. There's also some weighted blocks suitable for a variety of exercises including rows, arm workouts and standing shoulder press. Although not comparable to an actual gym, there's certainly enough to enjoy a good workout!
